Senior DevOps Engineer
Join a fast-growing European technology environment focused on protecting businesses from modern web threats and securing web traffic at scale.
As a Senior DevOps Engineer, you’ll take ownership of infrastructure automation, deployment pipelines, and the systems powering critical services across multiple data centers.
You’ll work hands-on with Kubernetes, Ansible, Terraform, GitLab CI/CD, Linux, and modern observability tooling to build reliable and scalable infrastructure.
The role spans the full development lifecycle, from infrastructure-as-code and automated deployments to production operations, monitoring, and incident response.
You’ll collaborate closely with product and engineering teams while helping solve complex challenges around scalability, availability, security, and performance.
The environment values technical ownership, continuous learning, thoughtful collaboration, and the confidence to challenge established approaches.
This is an opportunity to make a meaningful impact in a remote-first engineering organization where infrastructure quality is treated with the same importance as product quality.
Accountabilities
- Design, develop, and maintain infrastructure-as-code solutions using Ansible and Terraform, with a focus on reliability, scalability, and automation.
- Plan, organize, monitor, and continuously improve infrastructure performance across multiple environments and data centers.
- Maintain, operate, and optimize existing infrastructure, deployment systems, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Build and improve automated deployment processes for applications across testing and production environments.
- Develop and maintain toolchains, workflows, and automation that reduce manual operational work and improve engineering efficiency.
- Set up and maintain monitoring, logging, alerting, and tracing to ensure system visibility and reliability.
- Participate in incident analysis, troubleshooting, and root-cause resolution for infrastructure and deployment issues.
- Help ensure infrastructure meets appropriate security, reliability, and compliance standards.
- Document infrastructure, operational procedures, improvements, and technical decisions.
- Collaborate continuously with product and engineering teams to understand requirements and deliver robust infrastructure solutions.
- Contribute to decisions around scalability, availability, performance, and architecture, while constructively challenging approaches when necessary.
- Maintain high standards for the quality, maintainability, and reliability of infrastructure code.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
