Senior DevOps Engineer | Banking | London, Hybrid

📍London, Hybrid, 3 days p/w in the office | 📅Permanent Role | 💷Competitive Salary + Benefits

We're working with a leading global financial institution that is looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer to join its engineering organisation and help standardise and improve build and deployment pipelines across a large application estate. The environment includes C#/.NET and Python applications, with a mix of modern and legacy technologies. You’ll work closely with application and engineering teams to create consistent, secure and highly reusable CI/CD processes that improve the way software is built, tested and deployed across the organisation.

The Role

You’ll be responsible for designing and implementing standardised build and deployment patterns, helping engineering teams adopt modern DevOps practices while supporting the migration away from legacy tooling. The role is specifically focused on standardising build and deployment processes across C#/.NET and Python applications, with GitHub Actions as the target platform.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
