Senior DevOps Engineer – with C#/.NET build pipelines
Permanent: up to £130,000
London hybrid – three office days per week
A Senior DevOps Engineer with previous hands-on C# development experience is sought by a large asset management business to standardise build and deployment pipelines across its application teams.
The work centres on creating reusable GitHub Actions workflows and migrating existing pipelines from Azure DevOps. The application estate includes modern and legacy C#/.NET services, Python applications and deployments to Azure and on-premise Windows servers.
This is a DevOps role for an engineer who has also built C# applications. That development background will be valuable when working alongside teams to diagnose.NET build and test failures, understand their projects and help resolve problems at source.

Responsibilities:
- Design reusable CI/CD workflows covering build, test, scanning, packaging and deployment
- Migrate existing Azure DevOps pipelines to GitHub Actions
- Establish consistent quality gates, approvals and deployment processes
- Support application teams through the migration, including hands-on investigation of C#/.NET build issues
Requirements:
- Strong experience designing and delivering CI/CD pipelines is essential, alongside previous professional C#/.NET development experience.
- Azure DevOps, Octopus Deploy, TeamCity or Jenkins experience is relevant; GitHub Actions experience is especially useful.
- Scripting in PowerShell, Python or Bash is also required.

The role is part of a friendly DevOps team working closely with developers across the business.
HYBRID: Office attendance is three days per week in London, including Fridays; Tuesdays and Thursdays are strongly preferred.
