DevOps / Integration Specialist
We are seeking a DevOps / Integration Specialist to join our Global Equities Electronic Trading team. This role is pivotal in setting up and maintaining a continuous integration environment and providing robust testing solutions for our electronic trading applications including Smart Order Router, Market Access, DMA/Sponsored DMA, Risk Controls, and Internal Matching Engine.
Job responsibilities
- Develop and implement a framework for continuous integration environments, driving its adoption and evolution.
- Automate testing processes and any manual workflows to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
- Integrate with various trading front office, middle office, and back office systems.
- Manage release processes, provide environment support, and offer production support as needed.
- Conduct client, venue certification, and connectivity for various exchanges, markets, and dark pools.
- Test and validate individual applications and end-to-end integration.
- Works very closely with stakeholders and clients and update, configure, change the trading application and downstream peripherals.
- Carry out Client, Venue Certification, and Connectivity for various exchanges/markets/dark pools.
- Working with various teams including Application Development, Business Analyst & Operations.

Required skills
- Formal training or certification on software engineering* concepts and 5+ years applied experience.
- Hands-on practical experience delivering system design, application development, testing, and operational stability.
- Advanced knowledge of programming language(s) - Unix scripting, Python, and Java programming languages for Automation, Monitoring, and Surveillance.
- Advanced knowledge of software applications and technical processes with considerable in-depth knowledge in one or more technical disciplines (e.g., cloud, artificial intelligence, machine learning, mobile, etc.).
- Scripting skills to automate day-to-day development and testing and integration tasks (Shell/Perl/Python).
- Creating and automating Test Strategies/Test Plans based on functional Testing and non-functional requirements and Executing them.
- Ability to tackle design and functionality problems independently with little to no oversight.
- Practical cloud native experience.
- Experience in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Mathematics, or a related technical field.

Preferred skills
- Electronic trading exposure with knowledge in trading protocols such as FIX is desirable.
- Knowledge of Equities Trading Stack – Order Management Systems, ALGO, Smart Order Routers, Dark Pools, Equities exchange protocols.
- Knowledge of kdb/q is a plus.
