Senior DevOps Engineer – AWS & Kubernetes

Spectrum IT Recruitment is looking for an experienced Senior DevOps Engineer with strong AWS and Kubernetes experience.

This is a hands-on role focused on developing, maintaining and improving cloud infrastructure and container platforms. You’ll work closely with engineering teams to automate processes, support reliable software delivery and improve the security, performance and resilience of cloud environments.

The Role

  • Build, manage and maintain cloud infrastructure within AWS.
  • Deploy, operate and support Kubernetes environments.
  • Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code and automation.
  • Improve CI/CD pipelines and deployment processes.
  • Troubleshoot infrastructure, container and application deployment issues.
  • Enhance monitoring, logging, security and platform reliability.
  • Collaborate with development and infrastructure teams.
  • Maintain clear technical documentation and share knowledge with colleagues.

Skills & Experience

  • Strong commercial experience in a Senior DevOps Engineer or similar role.
  • Extensive hands-on experience with AWS.
  • Strong experience deploying, managing and troubleshooting Kubernetes.
  • Experience with Terraform or similar Infrastructure as Code tools.
  • Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines.
  • Good knowledge of Docker, container registries and Helm.
  • An understanding of cloud networking, security and access management.
  • Experience with monitoring, logging and observability tools.
