Senior DevOps Engineer
📍 London
💰 £150,000 - £200,000 Base + Bonus + Equity
We're partnered with a technology company building high-performance infrastructure for decentralized financial markets.
They're seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to help improve the infrastructure, tooling, and processes that support their production systems and engineering team.
The role covers CI/CD, infrastructure automation, observability, deployment tooling, and production reliability, alongside lower-level work with Linux systems, networking, and infrastructure performance.
The platform is still developing, so there is plenty of scope to improve existing tooling and processes, introduce better automation, and influence how the engineering team operates.
Responsibilities
- Build and improve CI/CD pipelines, release processes, and deployment workflows.
- Automate infrastructure and operational processes.
- Improve the reliability and operability of production systems.
- Build and improve monitoring, logging, tracing, dashboards, and alerting.
- Improve incident diagnosis and root cause analysis.
- Develop internal tooling that reduces repetitive work across engineering.
- Improve the developer experience from local development through to production.
- Work with Linux systems, networking, host configuration, and resource contention.
- Contribute to infrastructure security, access controls, secrets management, and system hardening.
- Identify reliability, performance, and operational issues and drive improvements.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
