JOB SUMMARY

The Senior DevOps Engineer works with application developers to automate and accelerate the testing, release, and deployment of applications on Avid's cloud platform, Avid Content Core, a multi-tenant SaaS running on AWS EKS.

As part of a team composed entirely of senior engineers, the Senior DevOps Engineer will be expected to operate with a high degree of autonomy and collaborate as a peer with other senior team members, sharing ownership of architectural decisions, cross-training on each other's areas of depth, and raising the bar on engineering practices across the team. As such, the ideal candidate must have experience clearly explaining solutions to complex problems and demonstrate the ability to influence and align other experienced engineers, not just execute independently.

This role is based Remotely in the Philippines and will be following a schedule of 2:00 PM - 11:00 PM (Philippine Standard Time).

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES

  • Establish and employ GitOps-based Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery practices (ArgoCD, GitHub Actions)
  • Implement industry Continuous Delivery patterns — progressive delivery, blue-green/canary rollouts (Argo Rollouts) and collaboratively work with other members to achieve successful continuous delivery solutions
  • Identify manual processes that can be automated, particularly around multi-tenant provisioning and infrastructure-as-code
  • Provide last-level technical support as needed
  • Build tools to reduce occurrences of errors and improve customer experience
  • Perform root cause analysis for production errors across a multi-tenant SaaS environment
  • Design procedures for system troubleshooting and maintenance
  • Guide teams in designing, building, testing, and deploying changes to existing software, with an eye toward per-tenant isolation and blast-radius containment
  • Consider the organization's entire IT infrastructure, networking, security, identity, and observability when making changes and improvements

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
