Senior DevOps Engineer
Overview
We are seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer who is passionate about building secure, scalable infrastructure and enabling high-performing engineering teams. In this role, you will collaborate closely with developers, testers, and stakeholders to improve deployment processes, enhance system reliability, and support the delivery of robust applications. You will contribute to shaping DevOps practices, tooling, and infrastructure strategy across the organisation.
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain scalable cloud infrastructure in Azure using Terraform
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure reliability, security, and performance across systems
- Design, implement, and improve CI/CD pipelines and automation workflows
- Develop and maintain reusable infrastructure and application templates
- Evaluate and integrate new technologies to enhance platform capabilities
- Improve observability through monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions
- Troubleshoot infrastructure and deployment issues, ensuring rapid resolution

Ideal Candidate
- Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Strong experience with Terraform and cloud platforms (Azure preferred)
- Kubernetes: Experience managing containerised applications, including cluster troubleshooting, Helm, and GitOps workflows
- Security: Hands-on experience with secrets management tools (e.g., Vault, Azure Key Vault) and authentication systems (e.g., SSO, Okta)
- Observability: Experience with tools such as Datadog, Grafana, or Azure Monitor
- Networking: Solid understanding of networking concepts, DNS, and related technologies
- CI/CD: Experience building and maintaining pipelines using tools such as GitHub Actions
- Microservices: Familiarity with microservices and event-driven architectures (Kafka knowledge is beneficial)
- Communication: Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate across teams
