Rate: £330/day Inside IR35

Role Overview

Looking for a Senior DevOps / Cloud / Platform Engineer to design and operate enterprise-scale cloud infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines and platform services supporting an API Marketplace.

Must-Have Skills

  • 10+ years in DevOps, Cloud, Platform Engineering or SRE.
  • Strong hands-on GCP experience.
  • GKE / Kubernetes – strong production experience.
  • Terraform / Infrastructure as Code – advanced hands-on experience.
  • Docker / Containers.
  • Enterprise CI/CD – GitHub Actions, Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD or Harness.
  • GitOps / deployment automation / release management.
  • Strong scripting with Bash, Python, Go or PowerShell.
  • Production incident management, troubleshooting and RCA.
  • Strong monitoring & observability – Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, OpenTelemetry or GCP Monitoring.
  • DevSecOps, IAM and cloud security experience.

Highly Desirable

  • Apigee / API Gateway experience.
  • REST APIs, OpenAPI, OAuth2, JWT.
  • ArgoCD / GitOps.
  • Cloud-native GCP services: Cloud Run, Cloud Functions, Pub/Sub, Cloud SQL, VPC, Secret Manager.
  • Service mesh / container security experience.
