Senior DevOps Engineer – Trading & Supply

We're looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer – Trading & Supply to join our team in London, United Kingdom, in a hybrid working mode. In this role, you will support mission-critical global derivatives trading environments, ensuring high availability, performance, and compliance. This position offers the opportunity to make a direct impact on robust trading systems, contribute to operational improvement, and collaborate closely with development and infrastructure teams to achieve business objectives.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure proactive management of critical end-to-end workflows, enhancing system stability and resilience
  • Support troubleshooting and resolution of issues across development, support, and business stakeholders
  • Serve as a subject matter expert for trading systems initiatives and regulatory compliance
  • Provide hands-on support for scalable algorithmic trading technology in a compliant framework
  • Drive improvements by addressing technical debt and delivering robust solutions from quick fixes
  • Participate in global on-call rotation for incident response and operational continuity

Requirements

  • Minimum 8 years of experience in Commodity Trading & Capital Markets/Investment Banking
  • Strong understanding of major global futures exchanges and derivatives trade lifecycle
  • Proven track record in application deployment and Front Office application support
  • 8+ years of experience with real-time market data distribution platforms and feedhandlers
  • Knowledge of time-series analytics frameworks such as kdb or Shakti
  • Solid technical skills in scripting/programming (Python, PowerShell, C#, SQL or similar)
  • 8+ years of FIX engineering experience and certification processes
  • Familiarity with EMS/OMS software like TT, Bloomberg, NYFIX or TradingScreen
  • Expertise in troubleshooting and maintaining continuous trading operations under pressure
