The role:
My client, an established multinational in the Banking sector, are seeking a DevSecOps Architect (Director level).
The role is a broad mixture of technical work and architecture, combined with stakeholder management, and facing off against the business.
The organisation would like the individual to stem initially from a Testing background prior to moving into DevSecOps type work, as the first part of the role will be dedicated to unifying the SDLC and Testing strategies across a number of business units.
Core responsibilities and duties at a glance:
- Owning architecture throughout the SDLC, Building, Testing, and Release
- Applying AI to accelerate architecture
- Defining CI/CD architecture
- Consideration of legacy pipelines when building and integrating systems
- Establish automation best practices
- Test Automation across the test lifecycle
- Security Integration and Implementation of controls into pipelines
- Defining Security in AI across the SDLC

Required experience:
- Strong experience architecting CI/CD and DevSecOps platforms at large scale, enterprise levels, within regulated environments
- Expert in Test Automation strategies, and can provide examples of success in this area
- Practical experience around Security Integration across the pipeline, including ability to apply controls and policies
- Exposure to AI/ML/LLM systems, including how they are selected, implemented and monitored
