Senior DevSecOps Engineer - Contract

Rate: Up to £500pd inside IR35
Clearance: Active SC required
Location: London, Sheffield, Leeds or Manchester

We are seeking a Senior DevSecOps Engineer to support a secure, scalable AWS data platform for Electronic Monitoring. You will design, build and operate cloud infrastructure, security controls and DevSecOps tooling, working closely with architects, developers, data engineers, security specialists and product teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and operate secure, scalable AWS cloud services.
  • Implement Infrastructure as Code and automated CI/CD pipelines.
  • Build and manage containerised workloads.
  • Embed security testing across code, dependencies, containers and IaC.
  • Implement AWS security controls including IAM, encryption, networking and secrets management.
  • Develop security logging, monitoring and alerting.
  • Manage vulnerabilities, patching and security remediation.
  • Support live services and respond to operational/security incidents.
  • Apply FinOps and cost optimisation practices.
  • Mentor engineers and contribute to engineering standards and best practice.
