On behalf of The Ministry of Justice we are looking for a Senior Digital Accessibility Specialist (Inside IR35) for a 6 month contract. Hybrid working with up to 2 days per week in your closest MOJ office.

The Ministry of Justice (MoJ) priorities include improving public safety and reducing reoffending by reforming prisons, probation and youth justice, and building a justice system which makes access to justice swifter and more certain for all citizens whatever their background. Project professionals in the MoJ help to improve the government’s ability to protect the public and reduce reoffending, and to provide a more effective, transparent and responsive criminal justice system for victims and the public.

This Senior Accessibility Specialist role is highly varied, offering you a chance to improve accessibility across a huge range of products

You will lead on ensuring that accessibility and inclusive design principles are embedded into the components, patterns, guidance, pages, documentation and processes used across MOJ digital services.

You will work collaboratively with interaction designers, developers, content designers, researchers, delivery managers and product managers to help ensure that accessibility is considered from the earliest stages of design through to implementation and maintenance.

As a Senior Digital Accessibility Specialist your main responsibilities will be:

  • Leading on accessibility strategy and delivery within the MOJ Design System ensuring accessibility is considered and embedded into team processes and decision-making.
  • Acting as the team’s knowledge lead and providing expert advice on WCAG 2.2, assistive technology compatibility, inclusive design and accessible code.
  • Working with designers and developers to review, test and improve Design System components, patterns, pages, documentation and guidance, identifying accessibility barriers and recommending solutions.
  • Develop accessibility standards, governance approaches and quality assurance processes that support accessibility by default across the Design System ecosystem.
  • Represent the Design System team in communities of practice and cross-government accessibility initiatives, helping to drive continuous improvement and innovation in inclusive design.
  • Upskill and develop the Design System team’s accessibility knowledge.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
