About the Role

If you love generating leads and thrive on seeing your marketing directly contribute to sales growth - This is your chance to take the lead. We're looking for a Senior Digital Marketing Executive to own the marketing function within a growing family business that is a leading supplier of technical chemical solutions. It is a varied role spanning strategy, content, digital marketing, events, and automation

Reporting to the CEO

Reporting directly to the CEO, you'll be given the autonomy to shape marketing strategy, build powerful lead generation campaigns, and position the business as the go-to expert within its markets. From LinkedIn campaigns and technical content to video production, CRM automation, SEO, events, and website optimisation, you'll combine strategic thinking with hands-on delivery to create marketing that drives real commercial results. With ambitious growth plans across the UK and Europe, we're looking for someone who can consistently attract qualified prospects, convert interest into opportunities, and help fuel the next stage of the company's success.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and deliver the annual digital marketing strategy.
  • Drive qualified lead generation through multiple digital channels.
  • Create engaging content including blogs, whitepapers, videos, case studies, and technical resources.
  • Manage and grow the company's LinkedIn presence through thought leadership campaigns.
  • Plan and execute email marketing campaigns and lead nurturing activities.
  • Oversee website performance, SEO optimisation, and content updates.
  • Support European market expansion through targeted digital campaigns.

Proven Experience in Digital Marketing

  • Proven track record of generating qualified leads through digital channels.
  • Experience creating and executing email marketing campaigns.
  • Strong website management experience, ideally including Shopify.
  • Experience using CRM and marketing automation platforms
  • Strong content creation skills, including technical writing.
  • Videography, photography, and video editing experience.

Highly Desirable

  • Marketing, Chemistry, or Science-related degree.
  • Experience creating technical content or working within technical, manufacturing, engineering, chemical, or industrial sectors.
  • Strong Understanding of AI and Marketing automation tools

Compensation

Starting salary £35,000 - £40,000

Additional Information

  • Huge opportunity to own, develop and grow the marketing function.
  • High level of autonomy and responsibility.
  • Please note this is role is 100% office based and it is 40 hour working week but there is flexibility on start and finish times
  • Hybrid working may be an option further down the line but it is not envisaged will be practical initially.
