Description

LOCALiQ, an award-winning digital agency within the Newsquest Media Group, is looking for a talented and driven Senior Marketing Executive to join our remote-first team. LOCALiQ has been named Standout SEO Agency of the Year at the 2026 UK Digital Excellence Awards, further cementing its reputation as one of the UK’s leading digital marketing agencies. Our mission is to empower local businesses with tailored digital marketing solutions that strengthen their online presence, connect them with their audiences, and drive meaningful growth. This role is ideal for a digital marketer who thrives on crafting content that performs across organic search, AI-driven results, and multi-channel campaigns. You’ll play a pivotal role in enhancing LOCALiQ’s visibility across Google and AI search, supporting lead generation and brand awareness through strategic content and campaign execution.

If you’re passionate about SEO, content marketing, and making a measurable impact in a fast-paced, collaborative environment, we’d love to hear from you.

Please note this role is open to remote working, but you must be based in the UK.

Key Responsibilities

  • Create high-quality content across blogs, guides, social media, email campaigns, and landing pages.
  • Optimise content for SEO and visibility in AI search.
  • Conduct keyword research, competitor analysis, and content audits to inform SEO strategy.
  • Apply E-E-A-T principles, keyword strategy, and structured content formats to improve organic performance.
  • Monitor and optimise SEO performance using SEMrush and other analytics tools.
  • Manage and update website content in WordPress, ensuring brand consistency and SEO best practices.
  • Build, execute, and optimise email campaigns, nurture journeys, and newsletters through HubSpot.
  • Plan, schedule, and manage organic social media content across B2B channels.
  • Support paid digital campaigns across LinkedIn, Facebook, YouTube, and other platforms to drive lead generation.
  • Analyse campaign performance, track ROI, manage inbound marketing enquiries, and collaborate with sales on lead follow-up.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
