Purpose of the role

To support the delivery and development of the firm's digital marketing strategy, with responsibility for social media, website management, content creation, video, email marketing and digital campaigns.
Working closely with the Marketing Manager, the Senior Digital Marketing Executive will help strengthen the firm's digital presence, raise brand awareness, increase engagement and showcase the firm's people, expertise and services.
This is a hands-on role suited to an experienced digital marketer who can manage their own workload, take ownership of digital activity and campaigns, and bring forward ideas to continually improve our digital marketing.
Key responsibilities
- Plan, develop and deliver digital marketing campaigns in line with the firm's marketing priorities.
- Manage and maintain the firm's social media channels, including planning, creating, scheduling and monitoring content.
- Create engaging digital content including articles, newsletters, case studies, social media content, videos, reels and vox pops.
- Develop and manage content calendars across the firm's brands, sectors, services and campaigns.
- Manage and update website content, ensuring information is accurate, relevant, engaging and optimised.
- Support the ongoing development of the firm's website and identify opportunities to improve content, user experience and visibility.
- Apply SEO best practice to digital content and identify opportunities to improve organic search performance.
- Plan and deliver email marketing campaigns and digital communications, including content creation, audience segmentation and performance monitoring.
- Work with colleagues across the firm to identify stories, expertise, achievements and other opportunities for digital content.
- Capture and edit video content for use across the firm's website, social media and other digital platforms.
- Monitor and report on digital marketing performance across social media, website, email and campaigns.
- Use digital analytics and insights to understand what is performing well and make recommendations for future activity.
- Keep up to date with digital marketing trends and identify new ideas and opportunities relevant to the firm.
- Help maintain consistency of the firm's brand, tone of voice and messaging across digital channels.
- Manage digital projects and campaigns from brief through to delivery, ensuring deadlines and agreed objectives are met.
- Work closely with the Marketing Manager to support the delivery of the wider marketing plan and contribute ideas for future campaigns and activity.

Essential
Skills and experience
- Minimum of 4+ years' experience in digital marketing, content marketing or a similar role.
- Experience planning and delivering digital marketing campaigns.
- Strong experience managing social media platforms and creating engaging content for different audiences.
- Experience managing and updating websites using a CMS.
- Good understanding of SEO and digital content best practice.
- Experience delivering email marketing campaigns and digital communications.
- Experience using Google Analytics and other digital reporting tools to monitor and understand performance.
- Strong written communication and copywriting skills.
- Experience creating and editing video and social media content.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
- Ability to work independently and take ownership of digital activity while working closely with the Marketing Manager.
- Confident communicating and working with colleagues to gather content and develop marketing opportunities.
- Proactive, creative and willing to bring forward new ideas

Desirable
- Experience within a professional services environment would be advantageous but is not essential.
- Experience using marketing technology including Canva, Mailchimp, Trello, CRM systems and website CMS platforms.
- Experience of paid social media or digital advertising.
- Knowledge of PPC and wider search marketing.
- Experience working with external digital suppliers or agencies.
The person we're looking for
We're looking for an experienced, creative and proactive digital marketer who enjoys being hands-on and taking responsibility for their work.
You'll be confident creating content across different channels, managing social media and website activity, developing digital campaigns and using data to understand what's working.
You'll be organised, comfortable managing multiple priorities and able to work independently while collaborating closely with the Marketing Manager.
We're particularly looking for someone who will bring ideas to the role, spot opportunities and help us continually improve our digital presence and content
