About The Role

As a Senior Digital Marketing Manager at Reed, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and executing the company's digital strategy. This position requires a strategic thinker with a comprehensive understanding of digital marketing channels, including SEO, content marketing, website optimisation, and paid media. You will act as a senior adviser to the leadership team, providing insights and recommendations to enhance online visibility, drive lead generation, and support overall business growth. The role offers an exciting opportunity to lead innovative digital initiatives, oversee cross-functional teams, and collaborate with external agencies and stakeholders to deliver measurable results. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in digital marketing within regulated sectors, with a passion for leveraging emerging technologies to stay ahead of industry trends.

Qualifications

  • Extensive experience in senior digital marketing roles, preferably within legal, professional services, or regulated sectors.
  • Proven track record of developing and implementing successful digital strategies that drive growth and lead generation.
  • Strong expertise in SEO, content marketing, website optimisation, analytics, and paid media campaigns.
  • Experience managing senior stakeholders, external agencies, and digital budgets effectively.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence at all levels.
  • Knowledge of CRM systems and marketing automation platforms.
  • Familiarity with AI search optimisation and emerging digital technologies.
  • Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive digital strategy aligned with business objectives, ensuring consistency across all channels.
  • Act as the senior digital adviser to the executive leadership team, providing strategic insights and recommendations.
  • Establish digital governance frameworks, reporting standards, and best practices to ensure optimal performance and compliance.
  • Identify opportunities for innovation, adopting emerging technologies to enhance digital performance.
  • Lead the ongoing development and optimisation of the company website, focusing on user experience, accessibility, performance, and conversion metrics.
  • Implement and maintain content and publishing standards to ensure high-quality, engaging digital content.
  • Design and execute SEO and GEO strategies to improve search rankings, organic traffic, and authority in target markets.
  • Drive technical SEO initiatives, content optimisation, and digital PR campaigns to enhance visibility and lead generation.
  • Oversee the creation and execution of the digital content strategy, collaborating with subject matter experts and senior leadership to produce high-quality, client-focused content.
  • Support thought leadership initiatives and brand awareness campaigns to position the company as an industry leader.
  • Manage paid media activities, including campaign planning, execution, and optimisation to maximise ROI.
  • Develop KPIs, dashboards, and reporting frameworks to monitor digital performance and inform strategic decisions.
  • Utilise data-driven insights to continuously optimise digital campaigns and improve overall ROI.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with senior stakeholders, external agencies, and digital suppliers.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop the digital marketing team, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.
