Handle Recruitment are looking for a Senior Digital Marketing Manager for our client's leading international film and TV company, specialising in the production, distribution and marketing of entertainment content across cinemas, home entertainment and digital platforms.
Central London | Hybrid | 3 Days In Office
£55,000 to £65,000 based on experience
Must have Film and TV experience
The Role
This role is responsible for the strategic development, management and implementation of the digital and social strategy across all areas of the client's UK business.
At the core of the role is maintaining a strong and engaging online presence for the brand, dedicated film channels and external digital communications, promoting films and other content throughout their lifecycle.
Responsibilities
- Manage all of the client's UK digital channels, including audience development and editorial strategy
- Work closely with the Theatrical and Home Entertainment teams to set and oversee paid and organic digital strategies for new film release campaigns
- Manage agencies delivering digital activations, including community management, social sentiment reporting and influencer activity
- Develop and maintain relationships with leading digital platforms such as Google, Meta and TikTok, ensuring the client remains up to date with the latest developments
- Work with campaign managers to monitor the performance of paid digital campaigns delivered by the media agency
- Monitor social sentiment for new releases and report insights back to wider teams and relevant stakeholders
- Work with the wider team to determine the phasing and cadence of key asset launches, including trailers, posters and clips
- Lead influencer engagement on a campaign-by-campaign basis for new releases
- Liaise regularly with the international marketing team across London and Paris to ensure alignment on wider strategy
- Work closely with Publicity teams to ensure key consumer and trade announcements are communicated through digital channels
- Work with Catalogue teams to develop and maintain the editorial strategy for the YouTube channel, including commissioning bespoke content
- Provide strategic guidance to teams around delivery, copywriting, tone of voice and relevant digital trends to create effective and engaging campaigns
- Act as the local point of contact for the maintenance of the client's UK website

- Minimum 3 years' experience managing social and digital channels within the TV or film industry
- Previous experience working within TV or film is essential
- Excellent communication skills
- Demonstrable expertise in writing clear, engaging social copy
- Strong knowledge of and genuine passion for film and/or TV
- Knowledgeable, forward-thinking and innovative when it comes to developments within the digital landscape, including AI
- Previous experience delivering CRM, SEO and GEO strategies would be beneficial
