Applying strategic thinking, advanced analytical capability and creative insight, you will drive measurable results and support sustainable, multi-year growth. With accountability across paid and organic marketing activity, you will set direction, oversee research and campaign execution, and continuously optimise performance to maximise commercial impact.

You will translate complex data into clear, actionable recommendations and provide authoritative reporting and strategic counsel to stakeholders at all levels of the organisation.

What you’ll do

  • Set the direction for paid and organic activity across PPC, paid social, display, retargeting, SEO, CRM, affiliates, content and social media, ensuring plans are integrated and commercially focused.
  • Lead the UK website’s mobile-first transformation, partnering with Product and Marketing to improve customer journeys, conversion and digital performance.
  • Define the digital roadmap and promotional calendar, creating clear briefs and prioritising high-quality delivery across content, CRM, promotions and channels.
  • Develop a customer-led content strategy across website, search, CRM and social, using insight, creativity and responsible AI to drive engagement and conversion.
  • Own the UK SEO strategy, covering keyword research, technical SEO, content optimisation and organic growth.
  • Lead paid search, SEO and specialist agencies, setting clear objectives and holding partners accountable for KPIs, service and commercial outcomes.
  • Define and deliver a leading social media strategy that builds brand relevance, customer engagement and measurable growth.
  • Own the affiliate platform and partner strategy, growing existing relationships and securing new partners to deliver profitable growth.
  • Set the CRM strategy and annual contact plan across email and app, using insight, segmentation and testing to deliver relevant customer journeys.
  • Own digital budgets, forecasting and cost control, directing investment to maximise ROI, CPA and ROAS.
  • Support the commercial performance of Travelex.co.uk and the Travelex app, using data and customer insight to identify opportunities, manage risks and recommend action.
  • Set measurement frameworks and deliver clear performance reporting, turning complex data into actionable recommendations for stakeholders and senior leaders.
  • Partner with Pricing to develop effective promotions, securing Legal and Compliance approvals and meeting governance requirements.
  • Build influential relationships across Product, eCommerce, Pricing, Commercial, Legal, Compliance, Marketing and external partners to align priorities and drive delivery.
  • Track digital, e-commerce, customer and competitor trends, using a test-and-learn approach to evolve strategy and maintain competitive advantage.
  • Provide visible digital leadership, setting high standards and fostering a collaborative, accountable and performance-focused culture.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
