Senior Digital Marketing Manager

We’re looking for an experienced and commercially minded Senior Digital Marketing Manager to lead the planning, execution and optimisation of digital marketing strategy across both B2C & B2B audiences.

This is a hands-on management role that combines strategic thinking with day-to-day campaign delivery. You’ll oversee a small team, manage multiple digital channels, work closely with internal and external stakeholders, and use data-driven insights to drive customer acquisition, engagement and revenue growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and deliver integrated digital marketing strategies that support business growth
  • Manage, mentor and develop a team of digital marketers, ensuring priorities are clear and performance is maximised.
  • Plan, execute and optimise campaigns across key digital channels including email marketing, paid search (PPC), paid social, organic social, affiliate, SEO, etc.
  • Monitor campaign performance and continuously optimise activity based on data and insights.
  • Manage digital marketing budgets and ensure strong return on investment across all channels.
  • Oversee marketing automation, customer journeys and segmentation to improve lead generation and customer retention.
  • Analyse website performance, conversion rates and user behaviour, identifying opportunities for optimisation.
  • Produce regular performance reports, presenting insights and recommendations to senior stakeholders.
  • Manage relationships with external agencies and technology partners where required.
  • Stay up to date with emerging digital marketing trends, technologies and best practices

About You

You’ll be an experienced digital marketer with strong leadership skills and a passion for delivering measurable results.

You’ll ideally have:

  • Proven experience in a Digital Marketing Manager, Online Marketing Manager or similar role.
  • Experience managing and developing a small marketing team.
  • Broad knowledge of digital marketing channels e.g. email, PPC, paid social, SEO, affiliate marketing and social media.
  • Experience with CRM and email marketing platforms.
  • Excellent project management and organisational skills.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.
  • A commercial mindset with a focus on achieving measurable business outcomes.
  • The ability to balance strategic planning with hands-on campaign execution.

Candidates could come from any sector, such as retail, ecommerce, travel, media, publishing, edtech, etc.
