- Help people to plan and save for later life, while providing a safety net for those who need it now
- Provide effective, efficient, and innovative services to the millions of claimants who rely on us every day, including the most vulnerable in society

- Play a key role in the development of project plans ensuring plans, timescales and deliverables are aligned to expected benefits, outcomes and timescales.
- Provide facilitation and secretariat support to appropriate meetings and governance forums. Ensuring effective co-ordination of all administration, presentational material and co-ordinate briefing and preparation for the chair and provide clear audit trail of decisions, actions and outcomes.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.
