About TAL Agency
TAL Agency is a fast-growing boutique search agency based in the North West that is looking for an experienced professional to take a senior role within our growing Digital PR team. We're on the lookout for a Senior Digital PR Manager who's confident, strategic, and has a proven track record of delivering high-quality, relevant links that improve organic performance - and who's ready to help shape the direction of the team.
You'll play a leading role in the organic team, owning link-building strategy across a portfolio of clients and helping to define the future of PR-led SEO at the agency.
Objectives:
- Own and drive high-authority link acquisition and media placement strategy across a wide range of clients and industries
- Lead on Digital PR strategy, aligning link-building outcomes with wider organic performance goals
- Mentor and support junior Digital PR team members in the delivery and implementation of outreach campaigns
- Build brand mentions and visibility to support both traditional SEO and AI-powered search results
- Drive brand awareness and recognition on relevant forums such as Reddit, Quora, and niche communities
- Stay ahead of what stories, hooks, and content formats resonate with journalists and online audiences
- Track competitor activity to identify gaps and opportunities for strategic outreach
- Play a key role in the growth and innovation of the Digital PR offering at TAL Agency

Responsibilities:
- Own link acquisition strategy and delivery for a portfolio of clients, including the agency's more complex or high-profile accounts
- Lead collaboration with the content and strategy teams to create compelling campaigns and outreach narratives
- Take end-to-end ownership of the outreach process, from ideation through to media list building, press release creation, and follow-ups
- Share link-building performance and insights with the SEO team to inform wider organic strategy
- Line-manage and support junior Digital PR staff with day-to-day outreach and campaign delivery, including quality control and feedback
- Monitor and build brand mentions to support both traditional SEO and emerging AI search environments
- Identify and secure brand placements in communities and forums to build organic visibility and trust
- Lead on reporting for links acquired, coverage achieved, and organic impact, including insights and recommendations
- Communicate directly with clients, leading quarterly PR and outreach strategy presentations
- Take a leading role in new business pitches and proposals
- Report directly to Head of Digital PR on campaign progress, roadblocks, and results

- A natural storyteller with a strong track record of finding the newsworthy angle
- Deep working knowledge of outreach, digital PR, and ethical link-building tactics
- Strong understanding of the technical role that links play in organic SEO
- A confident leader who can manage multiple campaigns, timelines, stakeholders, and junior PR team members
- Experienced client-facing communicator, comfortable leading strategic conversations
- Passionate about brand building in both traditional media and emerging digital spaces
- Comfortable mentoring and upskilling junior members of the PR team
Experience:
- 3-4+ years' experience in Digital PR or Outreach (agency or in-house), including experience managing or mentoring others
- Strong track record of delivering and leading successful link-building campaigns
- Advanced familiarity with tools like Moz, Majestic, Ahrefs, BuzzStream, Gorkana, and ResponseSource
- Proven experience building brand mentions and links through non-traditional routes such as forums, Reddit, Quora, and online communities
- Strong grasp of SEO fundamentals, especially in relation to links and organic visibility
- Excellent copywriting and media liaison skills
- Highly organized, with experience managing multiple clients, campaigns, and junior PR staff simultaneously

Salary:
- £35k - £40k DOA
