The Job
You’d lead digital PR strategy and delivery on some of our more complex, higher-value client accounts, reporting to our Digital PR Team Lead. You’d work largely independently, with regular client contact, and mentor the Specialists and Executives in the team.
Our clients are a mix of ecommerce, beauty, B2B and financial services brands, and our Digital PR team works alongside specialists in SEO, Content, Paid Media and Social. Your job is to make sure the digital PR on your accounts is creative, data-led and clearly tied to what each client needs from it (coverage, links and authority that improve their organic performance).
What You’d Be Doing
- Lead the digital PR strategy and delivery on your accounts. That means coming up with the ideas, planning and running the campaigns, writing the pitches and copy, and building the relationships with journalists and editors that earn coverage and links.
- Report back on what changed, why, and what we’re doing next, and with support, take a growing lead in weekly client calls and QSRs.
- Lead on securing top-tier coverage for our priority clients (national news, high-authority industry sites, global outlets).
- Keep links relevant and varied, so coverage builds each client’s authority in the topics that matter to their SEO.
- Analyse how campaigns perform and turn what you learn into recommendations for your own clients and the wider team.
- Mentor, coach and peer review our Specialists and Executives, and help build the templates, processes and quality checks that make good work repeatable.
- Share what you know inside and outside Liberty (lunch and learns, blogs, webinars, award entries) and build a reputation for your expertise.
- Bring channel insight and evidence to pitches, renewals and proposals, and spot where a client would benefit from more of what we do.
- Work with Client Services, SEO, Content, Paid Media and Social so digital PR is part of each client’s wider plan.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Who We Think This Is
You’ve worked as part of a digital PR team in an agency and been judged on client outcomes (KPIs, account performance and business impact).
You’ve probably been at an agency of 20 to 100+ people with SEO, content, digital PR, paid media and social on the services list, or a specialist digital PR agency of a similar size.
You’ve led digital PR campaigns on multiple accounts at once, from idea through to coverage, and grown the results they deliver.
You know what makes a story land with journalists, and you have the media relationships and the coverage to show for it.
You’re comfortable talking to clients regularly, explaining your results and recommendations and answering questions on your approach.
You can talk about digital PR performance in commercial terms (organic visibility, traffic, revenue) as well as links and coverage.
You’ve worked in at least one of ecommerce, B2B lead generation, beauty and wellbeing, or financial services, either client side or agency.
If most of this sounds like you, we’d like to hear from you. If there are gaps, tell us in your application what you’d bring instead.
