Senior Digital Product Manager

If you’re looking to take an exciting new direction with your HSBC career, an internal move can open the door to many opportunities, allowing you to take on a new challenge, and develop your skills. Bring your knowledge of our brand to a new role and grow yourself further.

We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Senior Digital Product Manager.

You’ll join the Onboarding Current Account leadership team in Retail Banking and Wealth (RBW), owning the end-to-end “new to bank” current account digital onboarding journeys. Our goal is simple: make it easier for customers to open an account, while delivering the right outcomes for customers and the bank.

You’ll shape and deliver technical journey improvements that bring our Customer Onboarding Strategy to life. You’ll lead a data-led team, align stakeholders across business, technology and operations, and keep our journeys safe, compliant and performing. You’ll also take the lead on incident management for onboarding—seeing issues through to resolution, not just raising them.

A move across the business allows you to continue to access tailored professional development opportunities, and our fantastic benefits packages.

In this role you will:

  • Own the current account onboarding roadmap, defining clear outcomes and measurable success
  • Use customer insight and MI to spot friction, prioritise fixes, and improve conversion and experience at pace
  • Identify opportunities across the market and our journeys to help us stand out in onboarding
  • Drive acquisition performance through smart tactical improvements and bigger strategic change
  • Lead delivery across global and local onboarding initiatives, working within RBW value stream ways of working
  • Build and lead a high-performing, data-led team with a continuous improvement mindset
  • Partner with Digital, IT, Ops, Risk, Legal, Compliance and Credit Risk to deliver customer-led outcomes safely
  • Lead incident management for onboarding journeys and make sure root causes are resolved and embedded

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
