The Role

We are looking for an experienced Senior Digital Product Manager to lead our marketing technology strategy and drive fan engagement through innovative digital experiences. Reporting into the head of marketing, you will own the strategy, roadmap, and execution of our marketing technology platform, transforming how we engage with our fanbase.

Key Responsibilities

  • Developing and implementing the martech product strategy aligned with commercial objectives.
  • Managing the club’s marketing technology ecosystem including CRM, CDP, website & app, SSO, marketing automation and personalisation platforms.
  • Supporting the definition of fan segmentation strategies and personalised engagement journeys across email, mobile, web, and social channels.
  • Establishing data governance frameworks ensuring compliance with privacy regulations.
  • Partner with commercial teams to optimise conversion funnels for memberships, merchandise, ticketing, and sponsorship activation.
  • Drive A/B testing and experimentation programs to continuously improve campaign performance.
  • Manage vendor relationships and evaluate emerging martech solutions.

Essential Skills & Experience

  • 6+ years of product management experience with at least 3 years focused on marketing technology platforms, along with proven experience managing complex martech stacks (Data warehouse, CDP, Channel orchestration platform, SSO)
  • Deep understanding of customer data platforms, marketing automation, and personalisation engines
  • Strong analytical skills with experience translating data into actionable insights and product decisions
  • Self-starter who thrives working independently and is hands on, however comfortable working cross functionally.
  • Excellent communication skills with ability to influence senior leadership and translate technical concepts for non-technical audiences
  • Understanding of privacy regulations (GDPR, CCPA) and ethical data practices
  • Highly organised, with the ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines, especially around the football fixture calendar
  • Knowledge of fan engagement dynamics, or subscription business models is highly valued, as is passion for football and understanding of what drives fan loyalty.
