The Role

The role of the Senior Project Manager will be to work in a global Delivery team, working closely with Business Analysts, Delivery Managers, Architects, PPM, PMO, and Business Change teams under the Head of Delivery. The work will support the delivery of a prioritised portfolio of projects and programmes. This is an exciting role that helps meet Arup’s Total Design and Excellence objectives and provides great exposure to being part of its 5-year strategy.

The Opportunity

  • Provides exposure to work on global projects and programmes as well as emerging technologies
  • Being part of a global team that provides exposure to different countries and cultures
  • Establishes a solid career pathway that is competency based where development opportunities are part of continued professional development
  • The role engages in project delivery, RAID, benefits and outcomes, highlight reporting, detailed WBS planning with MSP and dependency management. Delivery of management and technical products, subject to internal audits and assurance. Will engage in communities of practice and skills network engagement as well as opportunities to own continuous improvement initiatives

Is this role right for you?

  • Experienced in working on projects with highly satisfied sponsors and end users, having achieved tangible results and business outcomes, leading to value creation and benefits realisation
  • Manage the successful delivery of a range of technology and change projects and exposure to programme management as part of the group’s strategy.
  • Ensure an effective governance model is in place to support the delivery of the project, chairing project boards, KPI’s and robust status reporting
  • Build motivated, delivery-focused teams
  • Comprehensive understanding of benefits management and realisation
  • Experience working with diverse teams across several global locations, time zones, or cultural backgrounds
