Salary: £40k to £50k+
Location: Sheffield Office
2+ days per week / Hybrid

We are looking for a proactive and enthusiastic Digital Project Manager to join our team. You’ll manage a variety of digital projects, from scoping through to delivery, ensuring they meet client objectives and are delivered on time and within budget. The ideal candidate will have a few years’ experience in a similar digital agency environment, have a hands-on approach, and be comfortable working closely with the wider client services team.

We work on a hybrid basis, with our offices in central Sheffield and we are regularly in the office together around 2 days a week (or more if you prefer). The Role

This is a client-facing role, requiring experience in managing and building client projects and ongoing relationships. Primarily this is Content Management based platforms and other Digital applications. You’ll be responsible for effectively delivering project with budgets from approx. £20k to £150k+. There is also sometimes the need to deliver more tactical ad-hoc projects from ~£5k upwards.

We design and build creative and technically complex websites using.NET CMS platforms, so relevant project experience is essential. You’ll work collaboratively with designers, developers, and client services in an open, inclusive way.

Main Tasks & Responsibilities

  • Lead the delivery of web and digital projects, ensuring successful outcomes for clients and the business.
  • Work closely with clients and account teams to define project objectives, success criteria, and measurable outcomes.
  • Plan and manage project timelines, budgets, and resources, proactively identifying and mitigating risks.
  • Facilitate project scoping workshops, status meetings, and retrospectives.
  • Oversee project documentation, ensuring all materials are up-to-date and centrally stored.
  • Manage scope and change control.
  • Support new business activities, including preparing delivery plans, estimates, and participating in pitches (when required).
  • Foster a collaborative, transparent, and inclusive team environment.
  • Suggest and implement process improvements to enhance project delivery.
  • Be flexible in switching between new and existing client projects, adapting to changing priorities.

Skills & Experience

  • 3–5+ years’ experience in a project management role within a digital or web agency environment.
  • Proven track record of delivering digital projects (websites, online systems, etc.) from inception to launch.
  • Experience delivering projects using Agile, Waterfall or hybrid methodologies.
  • Familiarity with the digital project lifecycle: UX, UI, front-end and back-end development, QA, and CMS technologies.
  • Self-starter attitude, willing to get involved in tasks outside the core role when needed.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; able to build strong client and team relationships.
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Commercial awareness and experience managing budgets and resources.
  • Experience using project management software (Atlassian/Jira, Figma, GanttPro etc).
  • Project management qualification (e.g., PRINCE2) is also desirable.
