What You’ll Be Doing

• Accountable for the definition, delivery and execution of the Digital Cyber Security Strategy and Digital Security Roadmaps. Embed transformation and change to maintain a suitable security posture against a continuous evolving threat landscape.
• Accountable for the Digital Security Architecture across the business unit, defining best practice, driving the deployment, integration and configuration of security solutions and enhancements in accordance with ‘secure-by-design’ principles.
• Driving threat modelling and security impact assessment, tracking digital security risk and exposure across the business unit, determining security requirements and specifications and developing security solutions to mitigate this.
• Operating as an SME in Digital Cyber Security, providing advice and guidance to key stakeholders across the specific BT Business unit including multiple senior stakeholders, leveraging best practice knowledge to detect, identify and respond to cyber events, threats, security risks and vulnerabilities.
• Directing a small team to identify information security system needs and deliver security solutions, overseeing the technical definition, configuration, design and implementation of technologies and services in compliance with applicable security standards, policies and industry best practice.

Desirable Skills / Experience

• Extensive Cybersecurity Technical Knowledge, with a strong understanding of modern cyber security principles, technologies, threats, vulnerabilities, and best practices across complex enterprise environments.
• Proven experience in Emerging Technology Security, including the ability to assess and manage security risks associated with cloud platforms, artificial intelligence, automation, digital transformation and other evolving technologies.
• Experience of Digital Security Operations, including tracking adversary tradecraft, building an effective threat intelligence pipeline, monitoring, detection, vulnerability management and incident handling.
• Membership of a professional body desirable e.g. CISSP, CISM, CCISO, GIAC certifications, CRISC.
• Experience driving change across a complex organisation to uplift cyber maturity and reduce risk.
• Experience of enterprise Risk Management frameworks and methodologies.
• Demonstrate Financial Management capability, including budget management, investment planning and supplier oversight.
