About the Role
As a Senior Director, Biometrics within ICON Strategic Solutions, you will provide strategic leadership across biometrics delivery for a dedicated client partnership.
Acting as a trusted advisor to senior client stakeholders, you will ensure the successful execution of biometrics activities while driving operational excellence, quality, and delivery performance across global clinical development programs.
Key Responsibilities
- Providing strategic leadership and governance across biometrics delivery, ensuring quality, efficiency, and regulatory compliance.
- Building and maintaining strong partnerships with senior client stakeholders, serving as the primary biometrics escalation point and trusted advisor.
- Collaborating with client and internal leadership teams to align biometrics strategy with business objectives, clinical development priorities, and future portfolio needs.
- Driving operational excellence through effective oversight of delivery performance, resource planning, risk management, and quality metrics.
- Leading global, cross-functional teams to ensure successful execution and consistent delivery across complex clinical programs.
- Supporting long-term account success through proactive planning, continuous improvement initiatives, and identification of opportunities to enhance client value and operational effectiveness.
- Championing innovation and best practices across biometrics functions to support efficient and high-quality clinical development.

Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Life Sciences, Computer Science, or a related discipline; advanced degree preferred.
- Extensive leadership and technical experience within Biometrics, including Biostatistics, Statistical Programming.
- Demonstrated success managing strategic client relationships within a CRO, pharmaceutical, or biotechnology environment.
- Proven experience providing executive oversight across large-scale clinical development programs and global delivery teams.
- Strong understanding of clinical development, regulatory requirements, and biometrics operations.
- Ability to influence senior stakeholders and drive alignment across complex, matrixed organizations.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and relationship management skills with a track record of building high-performing teams and delivering business results.
