Job Description
Director of Building Surveying
A dynamic and growing property and construction consultancy delivering high-quality project and professional services across the built environment. With a strong reputation for excellence, innovation, and client-focused delivery, the business is expanding its leadership team to support continued growth across the Midlands and beyond.
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced and driven Director of Building Surveying to lead and grow a Building Surveying division in the Midlands. This is a senior leadership role offering the chance to shape strategy, drive business development, and deliver high-profile projects across a diverse client base.
- Lead and develop the Building Surveying team, providing strategic direction and mentorship
- Drive business growth through client relationship management and new business development
- Oversee delivery of a wide range of professional and project services including:
- Contract administration
- Ensure high standards of service delivery and technical excellence
- Manage key client accounts and maintain strong stakeholder relationships
- Support recruitment, training, and development of team members

Requirements
- Proven track record in a senior or leadership role within Building Surveying
- Strong commercial awareness and business development capability
- Excellent leadership, communication, and client management skills
- Experience delivering projects across commercial, industrial, or mixed-use sectors
- Ambitious, proactive, and motivated to grow a team and service line
