About the Role

Reporting to the SVP of Brand & Equity, this Senior Director of Creative Strategy, Consumer Beauty role focuses on leading creative strategy across iconic brands within the Consumer Beauty portfolio, spanning color cosmetics and mass scents.

This dynamic role requires a hybrid strategic and creative mindset, where your responsibilities will range from crafting a compelling headline to devising innovative scripts, cultural levers, and conceptual campaigns. You’ll guiding creative and brand teams, ensuring each idea stands out by challenging conventions and mitigating clutter—all while collaborating closely with the SVP to prioritise higher-level objectives.

This is a challenger brand: fast-paced, entrepreneurial, and demanding. Immediacy, hands-on execution, and autonomy are critical to success. Flexibility is key—up to 50% hybrid working, with polarized office/remote arrangements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead disruptive creative strategy for iconic Consumer Beauty brands across color cosmetics, personal care, nails, and fragrance.
  • Write innovative, pithy, and provocative creative strategies that blend consumer insights and cultural relevance.
  • Partner with creative and brand teams to co-create ideas that disrupt industry norms and elevate execution.
  • Stimulate creative thinking and channel ideas through storytelling that is unmissable and strategically uncompromising.
  • Develop disruptive product claims (traditional and contemporary) to create market-impacting innovations.
  • Embed Social & Meta-first thinking, ensuring brand relevance in the platform-driven landscape.
  • Stay connected to global culture and trends across US beauty and European markets.
  • Project authenticity, pragmatism, and a free-spirited approach—avoiding dogma, pushing boundaries when necessary.
  • Hands on, resolute, intentional action-taker, setting an example with hands-on execution.
  • Collaborate globally, offering insight-driven creative solutions for both mass-market and niche segments.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
