Senior Director, Data Engagement Leader

Head of Enterprise Data Strategy within the Chief Data Office

Partnering closely with

Chief Data Office (CDO) leadership and teams, Employee Communications, Learning & Development, and senior leaders and stakeholders across the enterprise

Fitch Group’s Chief Data Office (CDO) is transforming how data is discovered, governed, accessed and used across the enterprise. As Fitch continues to modernize its data capabilities, we are seeking a data engagement leader who can translate complex initiatives into clear business narratives, drive organizational adoption, and help employees understand how data supports Fitch’s broader strategy and innovation goals.

The role serves as the stakeholder engagement lead for the CDO, partnering closely with senior leadership, product teams, data SMEs, and business stakeholders across Fitch. You will help shape how the organization understands and engages with key data initiatives – from enterprise platforms and governance programs to AI data enablement and new data capabilities.

This is a highly collaborative, hands-on role that blends executive storytelling, change management, internal engagement, and educational content development.

We’ll Count on You To:

Lead strategic stakeholder engagement for the CDO

  • Develop executive presentations and engagement materials that help stakeholders understand the CDO’s strategy, initiatives, progress, and business impact across a variety of audiences.

Drive awareness and adoption of data initiatives

  • Partner with teams across the CDO to support the rollout and adoption of new data initiatives, capabilities and ways of working through targeted engagement, awareness, and adoption campaigns.

Surface and amplify success stories

  • Identify impactful work happening across the CDO and translate it into compelling narratives, internal articles, videos and other content that highlights innovation, collaboration, and business value.

Build data literacy and educational content

  • Partner with subject matter experts across the organization to create accessible learning and enablement materials that improve understanding of data-related concepts, capabilities, and initiatives.
  • Develop concise explainers, one-pagers, FAQs, presentations, and short-form multimedia content covering data industry concepts and emerging topics.

Simplify complexity and strengthen organizational alignment

  • Translate technical concepts into business-friendly materials and help ensure materials across the CDO remain clear, consistent, and aligned as priorities and capabilities evolve.

What You Need to Have:

  • 10+ years of experience in data engagement, change management, strategic communications, product marketing or related fields
  • Experience supporting large-scale transformation initiatives within complex organizations
  • Exceptional written, verbal and executive presentation skills
  • Exceptional storytelling, with the ability to tailor messaging for technical, operational, and executive audiences
  • Ability to quickly absorb complex information and translate it into clear, engaging materials
  • Experience developing engagement campaigns, educational materials or adoption programs for enterprise platforms
  • Strong relationship-building and stakeholder management skills

What Would Make You Stand Out:

  • Experience supporting data, analytics, AI, or technology-focused organizations
  • Financial services or highly regulated industry experience
  • Familiarity with data and AI concepts
  • Experience creating multimedia or visual communication content
  • Passion for making complex topics accessible and engaging
