About the Role
The Director, Implementations manages a team of Project Managers comprised of client-facing MSP and VMS leaders, subject matter experts, and consultants guiding internal and external customers across Magnit’s global client accounts.
What You Will Do
- Sponsor key implementations and mentor the project team on the best approach and strategies to pursue throughout the implementation
- Monitor colleague performance, educate, and coach for career growth and performance improvement
- Interface with internal and external project stakeholders to ensure project sponsorship and support for the effective execution of implementation projects
- Ensure that post-project reviews are completed for every designated project ensuring that lessons learned are incorporated into the implementation methodology and standards for future projects
- Conduct strategic department org structure resource and budget planning

What You Will Need
Key Responsibilities & Duties
- 15 plus years project management experience preferably within the MSP space
- 10 plus years experience of managing a team is required
- Adopt continuous improvement approaches to develop faster and more cost-effective implementation strategies while mitigating program risk
- Enhance, modify, implement, and communicate project management methodology, standards, and best practices to the implementation team
- Assess, evaluate, and report on overall team and individual team member performance
- Build and maintain a project library with current and most recent materials
- Provide thought leadership to MSP management by keeping abreast of the latest market trends in MSP Implementation and VMS technology
Skills & Competencies
- Define and implement effective project planning methods for implementation resource demand and corresponding supply of staff for the successful implementation of new programs
- Proven work experience as an Implementations Leader or similar senior-level position in this industry
- Strong experience in project management and budgeting
- Detailed knowledge of MSP and VMS deployment such as Fieldglass, Beeline, VNDLY
- Experience in presenting implementation approach and past experience / examples to support sales opportunities
- Successful track record in mentoring and developing project manager team members and related support functions
