Skills And Competencies
- Deep subject matter expertise in supply chain risk management (SCRM), supplier and third-party risk, multi-tier supply chain visibility, operational resilience, business continuity, and procurement risk management
- Strong ability to act as a trusted advisor, translating complex supply chain due diligence, sustainability reporting, operational resilience, sanctions, export controls, cyber resilience and responsible sourcing requirements into clear business value for corporate procurement, supply chain, risk, finance, and operational leaders
- Excellent presentation, communication, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence senior executives, Chief Procurement Officers, Chief Supply Chain Officers, risk leaders, and cross-functional decision-makers
- Strong commercial acumen with experience supporting discovery, qualification, solution design, and complex corporate sales opportunities
- Ability to collaborate effectively with sales, marketing, product management, customer success, and cross-functional teams across multiple geographies
- Thought leadership capability, including public speaking, client roundtables, industry advocacy, training delivery, content creation, and internal sales enablement within supply chain risk management and corporate risk environments
- Demonstrated proficiency in artificial intelligence concepts, data analytics, risk assessment technologies, and continuous monitoring, with the ability to apply AI responsibly to improve supplier visibility, early-warning capabilities, scenario analysis, and operational efficiency

Education
- Bachelor’s degree required. Additional qualifications in engineering, operations, finance, data analytics, sustainability, cybersecurity, or related disciplines are beneficial
- Supply chain, procurement, risk management, business continuity, or relevant professional certification are beneficial
- 10+ years of experience in supply chain risk management, procurement, supplier risk, operational resilience, or related corporate environments
Responsibilities
This client-facing role is responsible for serving as a subject matter expert and trusted advisor during the sales cycle, establishing credibility and confidence in Moody’s solutions supporting corporate supply chain risk management, supplier resilience, and third-party risk programmes. Other responsibilities include:
- Supporting discovery, qualification, solution design, pipeline development, strategic account engagement, executive conversations and revenue growth by aligning Moody’s data, analytics, and AI capabilities with supply chain risk management, supplier due diligence, continuous monitoring, and operational resilience use cases
- Demonstrating how Moody’s solutions can strengthen supplier risk assessment, multi-tier supply chain visibility, critical supplier identification, concentration and dependency analysis, financial and geopolitical risk monitoring, scenario planning, and business continuity programmes
- Elevating workshops, RFPs, and Proof of Concept engagements by applying industry best practices and real-world expertise in supply chain risk management, procurement, and operational resilience
- Partnering with sales, marketing, and product teams to shape and execute effective go-to-market strategies, thought leadership initiatives, and market outreach activities
- Leading strategic discussions with corporate supply chain, procurement, risk, finance, sustainability, cybersecurity, and operations stakeholders, acting as a trusted advisor on supplier risk, resilience, and continuity challenges
- Guiding customers on applying Moody’s solutions to map supplier networks, identify critical dependencies and single points of failure, assess supplier financial health and broader risk exposure, monitor emerging threats, and prioritise mitigation and response actions
- Actively gathering and translating market, regulatory, and customer feedback to inform future product capabilities, innovation priorities, and solution development
- Providing internal enablement and training on supply chain risk workflows, supplier and third-party risk use cases, sector trends, and corporate buying considerations while supporting industry events and stakeholder engagement activities

Aligned to core customer segments, the team plays a critical role in bridging market needs with Moody’s data and analytics solutions. As trusted industry leaders, the team shapes strategy through thought leadership, client engagement, and market insight, working closely with sales and product partners to deliver impactful, future-ready solutions across Europe and Africa and also globally.
