Credit Acceptance

Credit Acceptance is proud to be an award-winning company recognized both locally and nationally across multiple workplace categories. Our world-class culture is shaped by dedicated team members who are driven to succeed as professionals individually and together as a team. Backed by a strong product, exceptional people, and a stable financial foundation, we’ve grown into a leading provider of used and new car financing across the country.

Our Support teams work with multiple departments in a dynamic environment that promotes flexibility and autonomy, while offering the opportunity to collaborate with a diverse group of professionals. We work to comply with our company standards, exceed customer expectations, and drive our Great Place to Work culture. We deliver high-quality services aligned to business needs, driving innovative improvements that support our company strategy and modern operating principles.

We are seeking a Sr. Director, Marketing – Insights & Planning to join the Credit Acceptance marketing leadership team, reporting to the Chief Marketing Officer (CMO). This leader will own the insights engine for marketing — unifying consumer, competitive, market, and dealer data into a clear narrative on pain points, market opportunities, and competitive positioning. They will sharpen data-driven segmentation across customer and geographic markets and define marketing's requirements for our Customer Data Platform (CDP) so the right data fuels the right decisions.

This person will also act as chief of staff and key advisor to the CMO — driving the marketing Long Range Plan and annual operating plan, building KPI dashboards that hold the team accountable, and supporting board-level presentations. The ideal candidate pairs sharp quantitative and qualitative analysis with compelling storytelling, strong business acumen, and the composure to lead through ambiguity and pressure — with an AI-first mindset that scales insight generation through automation.

Outcomes and Activities:

  • This position will work from home; occasional planned travel to our Southfield, Michigan office may be required. However, this position is permitted to work at our Southfield, Michigan office if requested by the team member.
  • Own the insights engine for marketing, unifying consumer, competitive, market, and dealer data into a single, cohesive enterprise narrative — pain points, market opportunities, and competitive positioning.
  • Build and lead a world-class Marketing Insights team — with deep expertise in Customer, Competitive, Market, and Dealer Partner insights.
  • Elevate data-driven segmentation across customer segments and market/geo opportunities.
  • Lead a recurring “Friday Story” with analytics partners across the enterprise, addressing strategic questions on the industry, company, customers, dealers, and trends — including in-flight reviews and post-mortems.
  • Build insights and high-level business cases to evaluate and prioritize growth and retention opportunities across customers and dealer partners.
  • Present insights and recommendations to senior leaders across the C-suite.
  • Own the development and execution of the Marketing Long Range Plan and 12-month detailed operating plan, in partnership with the CMO and marketing leadership team
  • Build and govern performance dashboards with clear KPIs; hold teams accountable to commitments and explain performance drivers.
  • Own the budget and resource allocation for the Insights & Planning function, ensuring investment is prioritized against the highest-impact opportunities.
  • Serve as chief of staff and key advisor to the CMO and other senior leaders, including board-level presentations.
  • Define marketing's requirements for the Customer Data Platform (CDP) so the team has the right inputs for data-informed insights.
  • Champion an AI-first approach, automating reporting and analysis wherever possible.
  • Lead, develop, and mentor a multi-layered insights and analytics team, including leaders who manage their own teams.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
