Are you an experienced marketing leader who thrives in complex, international environments? We're looking for a Senior Director of Marketing to shape and drive global marketing strategy across multiple regions, working alongside senior leaders to deliver commercial growth through collaboration, influence and strategic leadership.
This is an opportunity to lead at enterprise level, partnering with regional marketing leaders across international markets to develop high-performing teams, establish best practice and ensure marketing strategies are aligned with wider business objectives. Rather than owning day-to-day campaign delivery, you'll focus on enabling success through leadership, coaching, governance and strategic direction.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement global marketing strategies that support commercial objectives across multiple international markets.
- Partner with regional marketing leaders to ensure marketing activity is locally relevant while remaining aligned to wider business goals.
- Build, coach and develop a high-performing team of marketing leaders, creating clear succession plans and supporting long-term capability growth.
- Establish best practice across planning, budgeting, governance and marketing performance.
- Work closely with senior stakeholders to influence business strategy, investment decisions and market prioritisation.
- Champion data-led decision making, ensuring marketing strategies are informed by customer insight and measurable performance.
- Oversee marketing budgets, forecasting and ROI, driving efficiency and continuous improvement.
- Foster collaboration across multiple business functions to ensure marketing supports wider organisational success.
- Develop scalable reporting frameworks, performance metrics and governance processes across international teams.
- Act as a senior leader, helping shape culture, drive innovation and support future organisational growth.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
