What this job involves
The Business Analyst will work closely with the Global Occupancy Lead, Finance Manager, and client stakeholders globally to deliver and analyze a comprehensive range of allocation forecasting and space audit reports that drive business planning and strategic decision-making. This role serves as a critical bridge between data and actionable insights, with primary responsibility for creating, maintaining, and optimizing reporting frameworks that support corporate real estate operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Reporting & Analytics – Design, develop, and manage sophisticated allocation forecasting models and space audit reports that inform executive-level decisions and optimize real estate portfolio performance
- Data Management & Governance – Process, validate, and organize large datasets with meticulous attention to accuracy, ensuring data integrity across multiple systems and stakeholder groups
- Planning & Orchestration – Establish clear action plans to accomplish reporting goals, develop forecasting and audit schedules, coordinate cross-functional activities, and deploy resources effectively to meet competing deadlines
- Stakeholder Collaboration – Partner with analysts, developers, finance teams, and business executives to resolve complex data-related issues and translate business requirements into technical specifications
- Continuous Improvement – Proactively identify opportunities to streamline processes, enhance report functionality, and implement best practices in data quality management and governance
- Technical Proficiency – Leverage advanced Excel capabilities, PowerPoint presentation skills, and knowledge of visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau) and databases (SQL) to deliver compelling insights
- Project Facilitation – Manage deliverable timelines, track task completion, proactively identify risks and roadblocks, and communicate status updates to ensure project success

- Monthly Audit Report Creation & Refinement – Develop and update monthly, quarterly, and annual Space Audit reports globally, incorporating feedback from previous cycles and ensuring alignment with evolving business requirements
- Monthly Forecasting creation and Quarterly Allocation Forecasting submissions – Develop and update monthly and quarterly space forecasting of allocations to the finance time via the client tools. Annual Space Budget creation working with Global Client Strategy leads, Global Occupancy planners, and the finance team for monthly, quarterly and annual submission to align with short and long term real estate goals.
- Stakeholder Meetings & Collaboration – Participate in regular sync meetings with the Global Occupancy Lead, Finance Manager, and client representatives to discuss forecast accuracy, audit findings, and emerging data needs
- Data Analysis & Quality Assurance – Conduct deep-dive analyses on allocation variances, perform data reconciliation across multiple sources, and implement quality checks to ensure reporting accuracy before distribution
- Ad-Hoc Support & Problem-Solving – Respond to urgent finance team requests, troubleshoot data discrepancies, and provide analytical support for special projects or strategic initiatives that arise throughout the day
- Documentation & Process Optimization – Maintain comprehensive documentation of reporting methodologies, update standard operating procedures, and identify automation opportunities to improve efficiency
- Cross-Functional Coordination – Coordinate with IT teams on system enhancements, collaborate with business units on space audit scheduling, and facilitate communication between technical and non-technical stakeholders to drive project outcomes
Required Qualifications
- 5-10 years of experience in Corporate Real Estate with demonstrated understanding of allocation charges, space audit coordination, and portfolio reporting
- Advanced Microsoft Excel proficiency including complex formulas, pivot tables, macros, and data modeling; strong PowerPoint skills for executive-level presentations
- Stakeholder management capabilities with proven ability to work effectively with diverse audiences including finance teams, business leadership, and technical resources
- Exceptional communication skills – both written and verbal – with the ability to translate complex data findings into clear, actionable recommendations
- Self-starter mentality with proven ability to thrive in fast-paced, customer service-oriented environments while managing multiple priorities simultaneously
- Detail-oriented approach balanced with strategic thinking to understand how individual data points connect to broader business objectives
- Adaptability and flexibility to handle shifting priorities and take on varied assignments as business needs evolve
- High degree of proficiency in Microsoft Office suite; experience with PeopleSoft and Oracle systems is a plus

Preferred Qualifications
- Specialized CRE expertise in space chargebacks, allocation forecasting, and the ability to source and synthesize information from multiple systems to produce actionable market insights
- Cross-functional coordination experience managing content collection, delivery, and publication across multiple business units and stakeholder groups
- Business intelligence tools knowledge including Power BI, Tableau, or similar visualization platforms; SQL database query experience
- Data analytics background in business analytics, financial analysis, or business intelligence roles
- Corporate real estate industry exposure with understanding of industry trends, benchmarking practices, and portfolio optimization strategies
