Brand Director
Join a fast-growing, investor-backed group behind a large and growing portfolio of food and hospitality brands. We are hiring a Brand Director to own the quality of brand work across the whole business. This role is about creative judgement and You'll be the person who sets the bar for the branding across the whole portfolio.
What you'll do
- Set and protect high standards for brand work across the portfolio: logos, brand identities and guidelines, colour systems, decks, and website look and feel
- Brief, direct and manage external agencies, and push back when the work isn't good enough
- Build and run a trusted network of freelance designers, illustrators and specialists
- Shape an in-house approach to building design-led websites quickly, with scope to manage a junior website builder
- Act as the creative voice for senior leadership, giving clear opinions on what works and why

What we're looking for
- A senior creative (Creative Director or Art Director level) at the top of your craft, with a portfolio that proves it
- A strong track record in brand identity and systems. Consumer, food or hospitality brands are a plus
- Confident directing agencies and freelancers, and comfortable giving direct, constructive critique
- A hands-on individual contributor who still makes work, not someone looking to run a large team
- Comfortable with pace: lots of brands, quick turnarounds, and high standards throughout
