I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Core Responsibilities
- Own the end-to-end product strategy and roadmap for the creator toolset – spanning the full creation continuum, from intuitive building, to triggering behavior, to programming – so that the tools serve novice children and professional creators.
- Collaboratively define and continuously refine the creation experience across the skill spectrum, partnering with design and engineering to deliver a low floor, a high ceiling, and wide walls (i.e., easy to begin, deep enough to master, and broad enough for diverse forms of expression).
- Partner closely with the Studio team to ensure the creator tools both enable and inspire truly memorable, attractive experiences, treating the quality and breadth of what creators can make as a first-class product outcome.
- Champion the health of the creative ecosystem by cultivating advanced creators and deepening the path from first build to ambitious, published worlds, recognizing that a sustainable platform depends on a thriving population of skilled creators, not consumption alone.
