Director or Managing Director | Credit Syndicate (FIG & Corporates) | London
A leading international investment bank is looking to add a Director or Managing Director level Credit Syndicate professional to its London platform.
This is a unique opportunity to join a high-performing and entrepreneurial team with a strong market reputation, offering significant visibility across senior leadership and the opportunity to help shape the strategic direction of the business.
The successful candidate will play a key role in originating, structuring and executing debt capital markets transactions while helping expand the franchise across both Financial Institutions Group (FIG) and Corporate clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the syndication and execution of investment grade debt transactions across FIG and corporate issuers.
- Advise clients on market conditions, pricing, investor demand, and execution strategy.
- Build and maintain relationships across issuers, investors, and internal stakeholders.
- Drive business development initiatives and identify new opportunities for franchise growth.
- Work closely with DCM, Coverage, Sales, Trading, and Capital Markets teams globally.
- Mentor and develop junior team members while helping build out the platform.

Ideal Background:
- Director or Managing Director level experience within Credit Syndicate, Debt Capital Markets, or a closely related capital markets function.
- Strong understanding of primary debt markets, investor dynamics, and transaction execution.
- Experience covering FIG, Corporates, or a combination of both.
- Established market credibility and a strong external network.
- Proven ability to originate opportunities and develop client relationships.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with a willingness to take ownership and help grow a business.
- Comfortable operating in a lean, high-performing environment where senior bankers remain hands-on.
