About the Role

Wiley is establishing Enterprise Systems Product Management to manage enterprise technology as product-led domains, aligning technology investments with business capabilities and measurable outcomes.

Reporting to the Vice President, Enterprise Systems Product Management, the Product Management Lead will own the Enterprise Data Platform domain, including its roadmap, priorities, adoption, and business outcomes. The role will partner closely with business capability owners and Technology teams to simplify Wiley’s data landscape and create a unified, governed platform that enables trusted decision-making, greater data reuse, and improved operational efficiency.

This is a high-impact leadership opportunity for an experienced product leader who can navigate complexity, influence senior stakeholders, and translate business needs into practical, scalable data capabilities.

How Will You Make an Impact?

  • Lead and develop the Enterprise Data Platform domain team, setting clear priorities, strengthening product management capabilities, and creating effective ways of working across business and technology teams.
  • Partner with business and functional leaders to translate strategic objectives and operational needs into clear data and technology requirements.
  • Own and evolve the Enterprise Data Platform roadmap, balancing strategic priorities with platform health, risk, capacity, and long-term business value.
  • Lead transparent prioritisation across the domain, making informed trade-offs about which capabilities to build, improve, reuse, modernise, defer, or retire.
  • Collaborate with engineering, architecture, security, infrastructure, governance, and delivery teams to shape practical and scalable solutions.
  • Drive the adoption of data products and platform capabilities, ensuring the business realises measurable value from trusted, governed, and reusable data.
  • Promote consistent data definitions, identity services, access models, and reusable reporting and decision-support capabilities across the organisation.
  • Build effective partnerships across business and technology teams, ensuring the Enterprise Data Platform continues to support Wiley’s evolving needs.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
