Senior Director, Real World Evidence
Senior Director, Real World Evidence (RWE) – European Team
Precision AQ is expanding, and we are seeking an exceptional Senior Director to lead our Real World Evidence team and drive growth in our European operations.
About the Role
The Senior Director (SD) will:
- Lead research teams
- Mentor junior staff
- Oversee existing projects and expand the business
- Manage a portfolio of client accounts and a team of researchers
- Act as a critical partner in shaping Precision’s success and reputation
- Engage in global industry thought-leadership via conferences, client advisory roles, and trade association involvement
Key Responsibilities

Research Leadership & Execution
- Oversee the design and execution of a portfolio of research studies using diverse secondary data sources.
- Lead high-quality analytics teams to meet project goals efficiently while anticipating and mitigating key risks.

Decision Making & Strategy
- Develop and prioritise actionable recommendations, communicate risks, and ensure alignment.
- Finalise decisions, take accountability for outcomes, and overturn prior choices as needed.

Client & Project Management
- Disseminate research via publications, conferences, and presentations.
- Proactively manage client expectations, resolve issues, and collaborate to identify new opportunities.
- Support business growth by authoring proposals, engaging in customer meetings, and identifying repeat business opportunities.

Team Leadership & Development
- Clearly define roles, coach staff, and handle challenging situations tactfully.
- Lead business-wide staffing recommendations based on capacity, utilisation, and pipeline growth.
- Mentor and develop emerging talent, from onboarding to career planning.

Stakeholder Engagement
- Communicate department goals, partner with senior leaders, and participate in strategic discussions.
Qualifications
Minimum Requirements:
- Master’s degree in health-services research, including:
- Health economics
- Public policy
- Health policy
- Epidemiology
- Biostatistics
- Public health
- Ten years of relevant research experience, with four to five years in consulting
Critical Skills & Experience:
- Proficiency in epidemiological, statistical, and observational research methodologies
- Deep knowledge of HEOR, pharmaceutical industry trends, health policy, payer value assessment, and HTA evidence requirements in Europe and globally
- Senior client management with expertise in project timelines and financial performance
- Proposal development to generate new business
- A track record of publishing in health economics, outcomes, or policy research
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional research teams, including staff mentorship
- Strong Microsoft Office/Excel proficiency
- Travel flexibility for domestic and international (overnight) assignments expected

Preferred Qualifications:
- PhD, DrPH, or MD (highly desirable)
