About us

One team. Global challenges. Infinite opportunities. At Viasat, we’re on a mission to deliver connections with the capacity to change the world. For more than 35 years, Viasat has helped shape how consumers, businesses, governments and militaries around the globe communicate. We’re looking for people who think big, act fearlessly, and create an inclusive environment that drives positive impact to join our team.

What you'll do

Viasat New Ventures is building the next generation of growth opportunities for the company. Our portfolio includes emerging businesses and strategic initiatives spanning Direct-to-Device (D2D), UltraGEO, national connectivity projects, dual use applications, and other high value opportunities that leverage Viasat's technology, capabilities, and intellectual property.

We are seeking an entrepreneurial Senior Director, Regional Business Development (EMEA) to lead business development activities across the region. This role is designed for a versatile business builder who can operate across multiple industries, develop strategic partnerships, create new growth opportunities, and accelerate commercialization of New Ventures initiatives.

As the regional leader, you will represent Viasat New Ventures across EMEA, building relationships, expanding partner ecosystems, identifying new opportunities, and driving growth across multiple verticals simultaneously. This is an individual contributor role; success is measured by the quality of relationships built and the deals closed, not the size of a team managed.

The day-to-day

Regional Growth Leadership

  • Lead New Ventures business development across EMEA.
  • Identify, develop, and close strategic business opportunities across multiple emerging ventures.
  • Serve as Viasat's primary representative for New Ventures with customers, partners, governments, and industry stakeholders.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
