Role Overview
Cyient has established a strong presence in the Manufacturing sector across multiple industry segments. In order to sustain and deepen our presence in this market, we are searching for a result-oriented sales leader who strives for excellence, is energized by new challenges, and is looking for a fast-track career growth. Reporting to the VP-EMEA & APAC, she or he will operate with a high degree of autonomy to drive the Transportation business for Cyient across the UK and Ireland. The candidate must demonstrate consistently superior sales performance, ability to influence, direct, and inspire the cross-functional teams in order to achieve the BU/organization goals.

Essential Responsibilities
- Responsible for order intake, revenue, and profit targets for the Transport business of Cyient in the UK&I region.
- Position Cyient to significantly grow the Engg/Mfg/Digital business with existing customers and win new business and expanding Cyient’s presence within existing accounts.
- Develop business cases, proposal strategies, and lead overall proposal activities for customers' Requests for Proposal.
- Develop proactive, unsolicited offers by identification of potential white space opportunities in the customer accounts.
- Provide timely forecasts of revenue, business capture, sales, and order bookings, status of pursuits and proposals.
- Lead internal teams in influencing/understanding the customer RFP requirements, the competition, and providing a Win Strategy with a recommended Price to Win.
- Responsible for contributing to overall Customer Satisfaction through provision of feedback & assurance of clear and consistent communication between the customer and the leadership team.
- Generate, maintain, and present sales management artifacts and tools such as strategic sales plans, account plans, sales funnels, capture plans, and order forecasts.
- Responsible for contributing to sales strategy and execution.
- Ensure adherence to Cyient contractual policies and procedures, and to company Legal and Ethics policies.
- Coach and support sales team, participate in workshops, knowledge sharing, and strategy sessions with Business Development, Strategy, Marketing, and Technical teams as requested.
- Diligent use of Salesforce to track and maintain account data.

Skills and Knowledge
- BA/BS in Business Administration, Finance, Marketing, or Engineering; MBA a plus.
- 15+ years sales experience with Strong Consultative selling ability in Engineering services business.
- Knowledge of domestic and international customer business environments with exposure to Manufacturing industries.
- Ability to elaborate and demonstrate a track record of success.
- Demonstrated knowledge of sales and marketing principles and concepts.
- Excellent written and oral communication as well as effective presentation skills.
- Ability to present business plans and sales strategies to senior and executive management.
- Skill in opportunity development and opportunity identification, strategic selling, pursuit, and capture planning are essential.
- Strong negotiation skills and customer relationship-building skills are critical.
- Strong drive to learn new technologies and offerings.
- Demonstrated leadership traits, with past cross-functional leadership experience a plus.
- Personal integrity, professionalism, goal-oriented, results-driven self-starter.
- Requires 50% or more travel.
Location
The position will be based in the UK and involves significant travel on a regular basis.
