The role holder will conduct partner assessments, create operational frameworks for solution deployment, and collaborate closely with the Head of Commercial Strategy on commercialization and opportunity sizing. Working hand-in-hand with the emerging innovation team and solutions leads, this position drives go-to-market positioning and enablement while governing our wider partnership strategy requirements to ensure proprietary advantage and solution scalability in lock step with the wider WPP Media stakeholders. The role will furthermore support the product team and support custom feature requests that are being developed in partnership with key third-party platforms and media partners.
Key Responsibilities

- Partner assessment & Framework Development: Conduct comprehensive supply assessments for solution deployment, creating operational frameworks and commercial structures that enable market readiness, while governing the curated supply marketplace and evaluating investment-led initiatives to ensure supply requirements support solution scalability.
- Solutions Go-to-Market Partnership: Partner directly with emerging innovation teams and solutions leads to support go-to-market strategies and positioning, ensuring partner capabilities are effectively integrated into solution narratives while facilitating successful deployment across markets through coordinated stakeholder engagement.
- Facilitate workshops with local Media Solutions leads in market to align on high-value (existing and new) opportunities and immediate/mid/long term revenue streams/strategies.
- Strategic Partnership Orchestration: Develop and execute Media Solutions' partnership strategy, managing relationships with key strategic partners to unlock proprietary capabilities, while ensuring streamlined communication and preventing fragmentation of partnership asks across technical, commercial, and solutions teams.
- Commercial Enablement, Market Expansion & Opportunity Sizing: Collaborate with the Head of Commercial Strategy on solution commercialization, supporting opportunity sizing initiatives while ensuring partnership agreements and partner frameworks enable the commercial models required for market expansion and three-year plan delivery. This role will ensure that our partnership strategy enables solution growth in new markets working with the head of Commercial Strategy to drive incremental growth through market expansion.
- Leverage and scale growth frameworks to increase momentum on client switcher opportunities leading to increased solution penetration, including win-rate improvement and % increase in solution adoption.
- Support Custom Product Development Efforts: Partner with Development and Configuration and Product Governance Teams to support custom feature requests that are being developed in collaboration with 3rd party platform partners such as DSPs and SSPs.
- Support product workstreams as part of your strategic partner management initiatives including regular Media Solutions QBRs for all key partners.
- People and Community: Build a community of practice where successful tactics and innovations from one market or region are rapidly codified and deployed to others.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
