About the role
PwC are celebrating a decade of successful Workday project delivery with major UK and global clients. To capitalise on this success, we are currently looking for senior experienced Workday Finance professionals to join our established and growing Workday Practice. As a Senior Director, you will oversee and work closely with a team of problem solvers with extensive consulting and industry experience, helping our clients solve their complex business issues from strategy to execution.
What your days will look like:
- Leading business development activities to help identify and research Workday enabled finance transformation opportunities on new/existing clients
- Developing project strategies to solve complex technical challenges for our clients leveraging Workday technologies
- Managing and delivering large projects by developing diverse, highly skilled project teams, assessing engagement risks throughout, driving conclusions, and reviewing / challenging the output produced by the team
- Shaping and delivering projects to meet and exceed the expectations of our clients and our own quality criteria
- Supporting collaborative and ambitious recruitment process to grow the team, and train, coach, and supervise team members for continuous organic growth.
- Continuing to develop internal relationships and developing your PwC brand

Skills and Experience we are looking for:
- Proven demonstrable business development and implementation experience in Workday Financials, preferably at large, complex multinationals, and are considered an expert with market eminence in your field
- Background in Finance Transformation
- Experience driving the growth of a transformation team would be preferable
- Strategic thinker with evidence of strong leadership abilities across business development, engagement management, project delivery, and team management.
- Experience working in a complex, multi-capability environment would be beneficial, understanding the key drivers and relationships required across onshore and offshore teams to build a practice and deliver successful large scale transformation programmes, often across multiple countries.
- An engaging approach, self-motivated with excellent interpersonal and communication skills and some evidence of a c-suite level network – you will be comfortable typically consulting with CFO and CEOs.
