About Our Client

Please ensure you read the below overview and requirements for this employment opportunity completely.

Our client is a leading, award-winning social purpose organisation operating across the North West. Specialised in providing vital housing, healthcare, and support services, they work directly with individuals and families facing homelessness, rough sleeping, or displacement. They are dedicated to delivering inclusive, trauma-informed, and personalised care that empowers individuals to build independent, secure futures.

Role Overview

As a Senior Dispersed Housing Officer, you will play a critical role in managing dispersed temporary accommodation properties and supporting residents as they transition towards permanent, independent housing. Working within a broader homelessness and prevention framework, you will combine practical housing management with a person-centred support approach to help residents regain confidence, develop core life skills, and successfully maintain their tenancies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Placement & Assessment: Conduct comprehensive initial assessments for referrals and establish individualised dispersed assessment plans prior to placement.
  • Tenancy & Void Management: Handle property sign-ups, assist residents with benefit claims, complete health and safety inspections, report repairs, and perform practical tasks to ensure rapid property turnarounds.
  • Resident Support & Resettlement: Conduct 1-to-1 sessions to build independent living skills, connect residents with external specialist agencies, manage crisis situations, and secure long-term move-on pathways to permanent housing.
  • Partnership & Compliance: Collaborate seamlessly with external landlords, local authorities, and key partner organisations while maintaining precise case management records and adherence to UK GDPR and safeguarding standards.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
