Job Title: Senior Document Controller
Location: Peterborough (3 days on site)
Rate: £550 per day (Inside)
Purpose of the Role
A leading UK utilities organisation is delivering a large-scale capital investment programme to modernise critical infrastructure, improve service resilience, and enhance digital delivery capability.
Working within the Capital Delivery Programme Management Office (PMO), the Information Management Coordinator plays a key role in supporting the delivery, administration, and continuous improvement of the organisation’s digital information management environment.
The role supports multiple workstreams, including Common Data Environment (CDE) administration, reality data management rollout activities, Business Management System (BMS) support, and the development of ISO 19650-aligned information management processes.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with an interest in BIM, digital engineering, and information management to gain hands-on experience across industry-standard tools, structured data environments, and multi-disciplinary project teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Common Data Environment (CDE) Support
- Support administration and day-to-day operation of CDE platforms (e.g., Bentley Infrastructure Cloud, ProjectWise, BCDE)
- Assist with user access management, onboarding, and adoption support
- Maintain data structures, document control standards, and information quality
- Support issue resolution and coordinate with users and technical teams

Reality Data Management Support
- Assist with configuration, rollout, and data migration activities
- Support coordination of datasets, models, and integration requirements
- Help ensure data consistency and alignment with project standards

Business Management System (BMS) Administration
- Support updates to controlled documentation within the BMS
- Coordinate SME reviews, approvals, and governance workflows
- Ensure document version control and compliance with procedures

Information Management Process Support
- Support development and continuous improvement of end-to-end information management processes
- Assist in maintaining alignment with ISO 19650 standards and best practice
- Help document workflows, procedures, and guidance materials

Stakeholder Coordination & Support
- Work closely with the Information Manager and Assistant E2E Process Manager
- Collaborate with Asset Managers, Project Managers, Engineers, and external partners
- Communicate technical information clearly across technical and non-technical audiences
- Support coordination meetings, updates, and workshops

Requirements
- Experience in information management, document control, PMO, or digital engineering environment
- Exposure to Common Data Environments (e.g. ProjectWise, Bentley Infrastructure Cloud, Aconex, BIM 360, Asite)
- Understanding of document control processes (versioning, workflows, approvals)
- Awareness of ISO 19650 or structured information management principles (desirable)
- Strong coordination and stakeholder management skills across technical teams
- Highly organised with strong attention to detail and process-driven mindset
- Interest in BIM, digital engineering, or infrastructure delivery environments
