📖 Senior Document Controller Specialist

🍃 Offshore Wind Engineering

💷 50k to 60k

📍 London

The role

Offshore wind foundations don't design themselves. Our client, a specialist offshore foundation design house with an exciting project pipeline, is looking for a Document Specialist to bring order to the detail so their engineers can focus on designing wind turbine foundations.

You'll be the single source of truth across live projects and the wider Integrated Management System, the person the team relies on for the right file, the right revision, at the right time. In a business built on engineering quality, this role sits right at the heart of that reputation.

It's important to note that as my client currently does not have an EDMS system, however you would be supporting designing one in the future so it's important for this candidate to have experience in working in both environments.

What you'll be doing

  • Own the Master Document Register, Technical Query Register and Communications Matrix
  • Keep every document version-controlled, traceable and audit-ready, no ambiguity about which file is current
  • Review documents in and out for quality, completeness and correct formatting before release
  • Act as the central point of contact between Project Managers, Design Managers, subcontractors and clients on all things information
  • Monitor naming conventions, revisions and transmittals across every contributor
  • Ensure project documentation is archived correctly at close-out for long-term retrieval
  • Champion SharePoint best practice and train others in good information handling
  • Identify opportunities to improve, standardise and automate document control processes
  • Contribute to project Information Management Plans and wider company best practice

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
