Bring your military intelligence experience into a role where your expertise directly influences how defence organisations use technology on operations

As our Senior Domain Advisor, you will work with defence customers in the UK and overseas, helping them apply the SitaWare C4ISR suite to complex intelligence and command-and-control challenges.

The job:

Bring intelligence expertise to mission-critical software

As our new Senior Domain Advisor, you will connect the realities of military intelligence and C2 (command and control) operations with the technical capabilities of SitaWare. Working closely with customers and our specialists, you will turn operational requirements into effective intelligence scenarios, workflows and practical software solutions.

You will advise and influence senior military users, get hands-on with the software and support the training of customers so they get the most value out of the software in their operational context. You will also support consultancy and pre-sales activities across the wider SitaWare suite, giving you the opportunity to shape both customer outcomes and the continued development of our solutions.

In short, you can look forward to:

  • translating military intelligence and C2 requirements into effective SitaWare scenarios, workflows and technical solutions.
  • advising and influencing senior military stakeholders on best practice, including the development of SOPs and doctrine.
  • bringing real-world customer insight into Product Management and Defence Services to help shape future capabilities.
  • contributing to demonstrations, pre-sales engagements, use-case development and domain knowledge sharing across Systematic Defence.
  • building strong software expertise and delivering practical coaching and overview-level training for military users.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Although you will be based in the UK and engaging UK military users, you will be expected to support and advise customers and teams across Systematic’s international portfolio.

The team:

Local collaboration, international impact

You will join our UK Defence Services team in Farnborough and work alongside experienced architects, engineers, trainers and business development managers. Together, you will help customers solve meaningful operational challenges and ensure their feedback reaches the teams developing our products. Reporting to the Senior Manager, UK & Ireland, you will collaborate across Systematic’s international Defence organisation and travel to customer sites in the UK and overseas, including visits to our headquarters in Aarhus, Denmark. Our hybrid model combines three office days with two days working from home.

You bring:

Intelligence credibility and a curiosity for technology

You have substantial military intelligence experience and understand how intelligence supports operational decision-making. You enjoy getting beneath the surface of technology, learning how software works and turning operational needs into practical C4ISR solutions. Just as importantly, you can build trust with senior military audiences and communicate complex topics with clarity.

We are looking for someone who brings:

  • experience from senior military roles and in-depth knowledge of intelligence functions such as G2, J2, N2 or equivalent.
  • confidence to advise, influence and present to senior military stakeholders and larger audiences.
  • hands-on approach to learning software, supporting demonstrations and coaching military users; a formal training qualification is not required.
  • operational experience with command-and-control systems would be a strong advantage.
  • fluency in English and the willingness to travel regularly within the UK and internationally.
